Subprocessors
Last updated November 4, 2026
These are the companies that handle what accounts keep in Tabla on our behalf. Each is bound by a data processing agreement with us, and the records themselves stay in the European Union. Under our data processing agreement, we email the admins of every account at least 30 days before adding or replacing one.
| Company | What it does for Tabla | Where | What covers the transfer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH Gunzenhausen, Germany Its agreement | Runs Tabla's server: the application, the database that holds every record, and its logs. | Nuremberg, Germany | None needed: in the EU. |
| Cloudflare, Inc. San Francisco, United States Its agreement | Stores uploaded files and the nightly backups of the database (R2 object storage). | European Union (R2's EU jurisdiction) | Stored in the EU. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and its data processing addendum includes the EU's standard contractual clauses. |
| Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) San Francisco, United States Its agreement | Sends Tabla's email: sign-in links, invitations, and the notifications people turn on, which can quote a record's name or a comment. | United States | EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with the EU's standard contractual clauses in its data processing addendum. |
Paid plans are sold through Link, part of Stripe, which takes payments as the seller in its own right. It receives what a bill needs, such as the admins’ email addresses, and nothing from inside a database. Questions go to support@tabladb.com.
