We’re just holding it.
This isn’t a security page. There are no badges on it. It’s the answer to one question: if you put your business in here, can you get it back out? You can — today, whole, in one click, on every plan including the one that costs nothing. Here’s exactly what that looks like, so you can decide before you start rather than after.
One click. One file. All of it.
Not a per-table loop. Not a support ticket. Not an email with a link in it. One click, and your whole database is a file on your machine.
One action pulls the whole thing down, synchronously. No job to wait on. No waiting for an email. The manifest carries the full structure — tables, fields, types, select choices, link targets, formula, lookup and rollup wiring.
There’s no .tabla file.
An export you need our software to open isn’t an export. It’s a hostage photo.
The tables — CSV
The same CSV that Excel, Numbers, Postgres, pandas and a text editor have all understood for thirty years.
The attachments — your files
The PDFs and photos you uploaded, with the names you gave them. Not blobs. Not links that stop resolving.
The manifest — JSON
Which table is which, what the fields were, how the links joined up. Enough to rebuild it somewhere else.
Nothing in that zip needs us to open it. That’s the whole idea.
We stay out of it.
- We don’t read your records.
- We don’t train anything on them.
- We don’t sell them, and we don’t sell access to them.
Not because we’re virtuous — because your data isn’t useful to us. We make money when your team grows. That’s the entire business model, and there’s no second one hiding behind it that needs your bookings table.
Nuremberg.
Not “a region you select from a dropdown.” Not “a globally distributed multi-region abstraction.” A building in Nuremberg, Germany — that’s where your records live. Your files and backups sit on Cloudflare R2.
The honest version, plainly: records in Germany, files on Cloudflare. No dropdown to get wrong, and nothing hidden behind an enterprise sales call.
Nothing gets deleted.
Your database drops to the free plan. Nothing is removed — not a record, not a file, not a table. The owner keeps editing and everyone else keeps reading.
And the export works on the free plan. You can take all of it, any day, whether you ever pay us again or not.
A lapsed card is not a reason to hold your work.
Deleting your account is different from stopping payment. Ask us at support@tabladb.com and it’s gone from the product straight away, and off our systems within thirty days as the backups roll over.
Export first — we won’t remind you twice.
Nothing here holds you but wanting to stay.
